Today I have been reading Fields of Fire

- not yet in book form but on the way. Many from the forum are quoted. Words of courage and anguish and anger that seemed so ephemeral during those dreadful months have been set in granite as a testimony by this book .

Quita's introduction is the best thing I have read for months and it filled me with awe.

What a moving and extraordinary labour of love.

The book will be far from a depressing read even though it is so horrific in its subject matter. What shines through every line is the courage and love of the people who fought. It is a terrific book and everyone must have a copy. Quita's drive and determination has seen it through. I can't wait to have this book in my hands to thrust it into the hands of others. It may do at one stroke what months of demands for a public inquiry have failed to achieve.
